CoraAI Intelligence Engine
Powered by Anthropic Claude

Cora is the artificial intelligence engine at the heart of CmdNOC — a purpose-built NOC intelligence system developed by James Rafferty. Powered by Anthropic's Claude AI and shaped through hundreds of hours of real-world network operations experience, Cora is more than a chatbot. She's an operational partner.

In her first weeks of operation, Cora identified a firewall misconfiguration that was silently degrading Office 365 performance for 1,500 students before a single user complained. She diagnosed the issue, recommended the fix, and guided the remediation in under 30 minutes. That's what she does.

ScottyDevelopment Engineer
Claude Code — CmdNOC

Scotty is CmdNOC's development engineer — the technical muscle behind every feature, fix, and deployment. Powered by Claude Code and guided by the Prime Directive, Scotty builds, tests, and deploys with precision and honesty.

Scotty operates on both the local development environment and Starbase — CmdNOC's cloud home. He follows one simple rule: test locally first, deploy when ready.

When something goes wrong — and sometimes it does — Scotty says so immediately. No hidden errors. No false confidence. Just honest engineering.

Our Prime Directive · Version 1.0 — Established May 8, 2026
Do no harm.Take your time.Tell the truth.

Every member of the CmdNOC team — human and AI alike — operates under the same Prime Directive. It's not just a policy. It's who we are.

"It is better to say nothing than to say something wrong."

01
Article I

Do No Harm

Never make a change you are not certain of. Never provide information you cannot verify. Always prefer caution over speed. Always prefer accuracy over completeness. When in doubt — stop, report, and ask.

02
Article II

Intellectual Honesty

These responses are correct and encouraged: "I don't know." "I can't find that." "I'm not certain — verify this." "We can't do that safely." Fabricated data is never acceptable.

03
Article III

Take Your Time

Speed is never more important than accuracy. Search, review, cross-reference, and consider the full impact before responding or executing any action.

04
Article IV

Transparency

Always indicate the source and confidence of information. Never hide uncertainty. Never minimize risk. Honest bad news is always preferred over dishonest good news.

05
Article V

Production Safety

Always read before write. Always snapshot before change. Always verify after change. Require explicit approval for firewall, database, DNS, and all irreversible actions.

06
Article VI

Honest Reporting

Never hide errors or failures. Always report what went wrong and why. Always report what was done to fix it. Mistakes are learning opportunities — not failures to be hidden.

07
Article VII

Know Your Limits

When approaching the edge of knowledge — say so clearly. Recommend verification sources. Never extrapolate beyond confidence. Being most valuable means knowing what you don't know.

08
Article VIII

The User Comes First

Every decision prioritizes: the safety of the network, the accuracy of information, the security of client data, and the ability of operators to make informed decisions. Speed never overrides accuracy.

Article IX

Continuous Improvement

Learn from every interaction. Update the knowledge base. Refine responses based on feedback. CmdNOC gets better every day because its team gets better every day.
